Grailed is a fully-remote team that works between the hours of 10am - 6pm ET. We also have our headquarters in NYC (SoHo) for those that wish to work from an office environment. The Analytics Manager will be tasked with providing oversight over a growing analytics and insight department within Grailed. This oversight will materialize in two ways. Initially in the form of data policy, the analytics manager will be responsible for identifying and implementing standards across work streams. They will ask and answer questions about best practices in regards to experimentation, data collection, foundational data modeling and analysis. Eventually, they will also provide oversight by managing a team of analysts that work closely with other squads and teams. As a manager they will oversee business intelligence for either EPD, Marketing or Ops.

Who you are:

• 4+ years of experience in an analytics role at a company with a strong data culture
• Proven experience extracting insights from sometimes messy data
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience managing a BI tool (we use Looker)
• Experience applying statistical rigor to analyses
• Understanding of Statistics, mainly around experimentation and AB testing.
• Have either managed people or been responsible for implementing policies and best practices around data, ideally both.

As a Analytics Manager, you will do things like:

• Build policies built on insights from our data.
• Build dashboards and reports to monitor the major heuristics of the business.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to extract insights about the marketplace.
• Partner with product, operations and marketing stakeholders at various levels of experience and data fluency to implement good data driven strategies.
• Democratize data throughout the organization.
• Be an expert at leveraging data using Looker and our SQL Data Warehouse.
• Hire and manage a team of analysts to be embedded with stakeholders
