Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global technology and data company that builds verification, optimization, and analytics solutions for the advertising industry, and we’re looking for a Technical Manager to join our Business Intelligence & Analytics team to help drive actionable insights for teams within IAS.  As a Technical Manager at IAS you will join an ambitious, close-knit team responsible for producing client insights and internal business intelligence used to drive decision-making at all levels of the organization.  This role will provide you with the autonomy to own our data model and all relational databases within it, and inherit the creative freedom to explore data, whether via existing dashboards or log data, to inform key business decisions.

What you’ll do as the Analytics Manager:

  • Lead analytics efforts to fuel strategic initiatives in corporate strategy, product development, and lead generation which will be presented via rich visualizations
  • Uncover, develop, and present insights and analytic recommendations to members of the Senior Leadership Team and C-Suite
  • Own the core Analytics data model, ensuring data integrity in all reporting
  • Create data storage and retrieval systems, troubleshoot database issues, and implement database recovery procedures and safety protocols
  • Own key decisions for technical faults within the data model and ensure those faults are correctly identified and fixed
  • Prepare for database expansion and optimization by studying plans and requirements; coordinating design and programming
  • Immerse in frequent collaboration with IAS Leadership to garner feedback on existing solutions and to discover new ideas for development
  • Collaborate with members of the team to create automated, scalable solutions

What we're open to seeing:

  • 4+ years of experience in data insights/analytics 
  • Expert statistical analysis abilities complemented by exceptional data visualization skills
  • Highly proficient or expert level competencies in SQL, Python, Excel, and data visualization software (think Looker, Sisense, Power BI, etc)
  • Ability to analyze complex data models; someone who takes pride in data integrity and efficient, scalable processes, and has a passion for using data to make well-informed business decisions
  • Autonomous self-starter, eager to contribute, desire to take ownership of and steer your project roadmap
  • Excellent communication skills; able to clearly and efficiently communicate ideas
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
