Your Impact:

As Clarifai’s first person working on Business Operations, you will support bring your expertise in analysis and statistics methods to measure and improve the quality of our products, as well understand the behavior of our end-users to drive adoption and retention.

Your Opportunity:

You are the first person at Clarifai that will be focused on using your skills to analyze our business operations for optimization. You'll be setting up the foundations for providing business insights at scale with the data that we've been collecting from our users and customers, you will advise on new data collection processes, asking the right questions and creating confidence that we are executing based on accurate data. You report to our General Counsel & VP of Business Affairs, who leads the organization team, but your role will involve working with the customer, engineering, product and research teams to improve Clarifai's products and tackle a wide range of business problems.

Experience you bring:

• You have 3-7 years of experience in the same or similar role.
• You work with large complex data sets and tackle difficult analysis problems by applying advanced methods.
• You conduct end-to-end analysis that includes asking the right questions, data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, modeling, recommendations, ongoing work and presentations.
• You write scripts and use third party tools to collect data from SQL databases, APIs, and external sources, extract meaning from underlying data.
• You know how to transform raw data from multiple sources into usable metrics using cleaning, interpolation, rollouts, and statistics.
• You can conduct basic statistics analysis and you have performed data visualization to report on the results. You also surface data using custom reporting dashboards, interactive visualizations, and third party platforms.
• You have a passion for AI and enjoy challenging problems, such as creatively determining how to get our technology into the hands of customers to tackle real business problems.
• You will gain an understanding of our data, and then use the right tools to analyze the numbers and come to a conclusion and make a recommendation that will drive user adoption, engagement, and retention. You love teaching and advising our internal team about our user behavior.
• You make business recommendations and effectively present your findings by crafting visual displays of quantitative information and explaining what the numbers mean.
• You bring value to our organization by building relationships and using your strong communication skills to relay information to people at different levels within our organization, from individual contributors, to C-level executives.
