We are looking for a passionate and hungry candidate to join our investigation team. Fraud team members should have demonstrable analytical skills along with a passion for research and pattern analysis, as well as a strong attention to detail. Role based in NYC.

About the role

We are looking for an Asset Protection Manager to tackle financial loss from theft and fraud.

Who we're looking for

  • 1-3 Years of Industry Experience in data science, analytics or engineering
  • 1-3 Years of Managerial Experience
  • 1-3 Years of Fraud Prevention Experience
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with high proficiency in Python or SQL
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work across teams, locations and time zones
  • Interest or experience in sports and fantasy sports

Responsibilities include

  • Monitor real time queues and identify high-risk transactions within our business portfolio
  • Conduct objective, thorough, unbiased and timely investigations into allegations of fraud committed by customers or online threats against our company
  • Review and research accounts to analyze risk, as well as overall fraud patterns
  • Identify fraudulent transactions and cancel them from further processing
  • Resolve customer issues within the scope of existing service level agreements
  • Ensure confidentiality of all information collected during investigation
  • Manage, create, and fetch data from our warehouse with structured query language (SQL).

  • Availability to work flexible hours that include nights and weekends
  • Strong interpersonal and online communication skills
  • Ability to think critically/logically and adapt to new behavior/responsibilities
  • Enthusiasm for role with varied responsibilities
  • Honest and ethical work ethic - high levels of integrity and confidentiality
