IT Analyst

We’re looking for a AV Analyst to join our team in New York. This position will be on the front lines of providing all Audio-Visual (AV) support DailyPay’s New York HQ as well as supporting remote offices. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills and be willing to interface with a combination of both technical and non-technical department and users. The primary tasks of this position will be to maintain and resolve endpoint issues related to DailyPay’s AV infrastructure.

The Role:

  • Responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining Audio-Visual (AV) equipment and systems.
  • Design, test, and troubleshoot the technology and configurations in conference rooms and other spaces with audio-visual equipment.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Zoom rooms, telephony system, conference room architecture/standards, video/audio/web conferencing, and streaming & digital signage infrastructure.
  • Provide onsite realtime meeting support with Audio Visual, Audio, and Video Conferencing equipment and systems.
  • Perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of AV hardware and software issues for end-users and conference rooms, and recommend and implement corrective solutions.
  • Lead AV testing practices to ensure upgrades don’t negatively impact key business applications or user experience.
  • Document the deployment, troubleshooting, and operational processes to build and operate our AV systems.
  • Create and maintain published end user support documentation and 1-sheet guides.
  • Drive initiatives to continuously improve our end-users experience based on user feedback and monitoring data.
  • Manage enterprise AV systems and leverage scripting to automate activities when possible.
  • Collaborate with members of the IT team and, IT Security teams to ensure our AV setup meets user requirements as well as aligns with the overall IT processes, security, and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues pertaining to IT hardware when they are integrated into AV infrastructure.
  • Field incoming support requests from end-users via ticketing system, telephone, email, and Slack. Support could be routed from remote users or remote offices.
  • Participate in an On-Call AV rotation schedule. Occasional requires off-hour support and build outs which may include nights and weekends.
  • Maintain records of all AV inventory in the Inventory Database.
  • Document network changes in AV wiki. 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3-4 years in a AV Support role. Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Business Management preferred.
  • Experienced in providing professional and courteous customer service.
  • Deep knowledge of variety of AV hardware and systems.
  • Extensive knowledge with online meeting platforms and connection types (i.e. Zoom, Teams, WebEx, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of signal flow, AV signal types, cabling, connectors related to AV hardware.
  • Working knowledge of computer software, operating systems, hardware and networking.
  • Ability to interface with Executive Leaders when AV support  is required.
  • Able to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment.
  • Physical ability to lift and install equipment (TV, computers and AV peripherals) in conference rooms and storage units.
