A Better opportunity:
We’re searching for a Benefits Analyst to work with the team and execute our benefits programs, and participate in other projects related to the development of the People Operations function. This individual will report directly to our Head of Benefits and can expect to work as a thought partner to other team members across the organization. This individual should be excited by the opportunity to be very hands-on with everything from day to day administrative work to longer term, large scale projects.
Responsibilities will include:
- Serving as point of contact for employees with questions about benefits, including running onboarding session and ongoing employee education
- Developing and administering employee benefit programs including health insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, commuter benefits and 401k.
- Monitoring benefit practices to ensure compliance with laws and regulations such as Affordable Care Act
- Liaising with external benefits vendors.
- Handling other ad hoc projects as needed.
About You:
- 1+ years of experience with benefits or related field
- Remarkable organizational skills and relentless drive to improve efficiency
- High personal integrity with a demonstrated ability to exercise confidentiality in sensitive situations
- Experience working in a start-up and/or fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and mathematical skills
- Experience with HRIS systems a plus and proficiency in MS Excel
- This role is designated as ‘Flex Mode,’ and is not a fully remote position. The number of days in office will vary based on role requirements. As such, employees must be located within commuting distance of the office and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
