MayStreet Inc. has immediate openings for a Business Analyst. This role is open to fully-remote. We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic problem-solvers with an interest in capital markets data to join us as we continue providing technology innovation and support to the world’s leading global capital markets companies. In this role, you will be part of a growing talented team that is tasked with delivering best in class market day solutions to the financial services industry.  This role is open to fully-remote in the US only and requires obtaining government security clearance, therefore, only US Citizens can be considered.

What you’ll do

The Business Analyst will assist in all Business Analysis & Project Management phases in a heavily matrixed environment, as well as support the sales team with client delivery tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about capital markets technologies. This is a client facing role and superb verbal and written communication are a prerequisite.

Responsibilities include

• Prepare BA and PM documents 
• Work across multi-functional teams to ensure alignment of deliverables
• Gather project status for reporting
• Take notes, document decisions, follow up on assigned tasks
• Communicate with clients on projects / deliverables

Work Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have 1- 5 years of experience as a BA or PM in the capital markets or financial technology industries
• Professional certification such as CAPM/PMP/PBA from the Project Management Institute is desirable
• Other relevant experience will be considered

• Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to interact at all levels of the organization and tailor messages appropriately
• Independent self-starter who can manage multiple projects with aggressive deadlines
• Eagerness to learn the business and understand/improve business requirements
• Experience working with cross functional teams

• Experience with G Suite is desirable
• Technical backgrounds desirable
  • Experience navigating Unix environments
  • sFTP/ FTP / AWS-S3, etc.
  • Python Scripting
