General Summary:

The Business Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing and informing the WW Health Solutions business with real-time and historical data analysis. This role will support business information and KPI tracking across multiple teams, including client operations, implementation, finance, marketing, leadership, sales, and account management, and will also support external client analysis needs. The analyst role will assist with identifying problems and opportunities within the company, and ultimately help inform solutions to drive achievement of business goals. In addition, this role will help shape future products and services using measurable and actionable data insights. This role will report to Director, Client Implementations & Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be an active collaborator with team members (marketing, sales, account management, product management, etc) in defining business requirements for key projects related to growing and scaling the WW Health Solutions business
  • Working hand-in-hand with product and engineering counterparts, to turn business requirements of assigned projects into technical requirements 
  • Using data analytics and insights, proactively make business recommendations to leadership. Actively participate in the implementation of approved change(s)
  • Work with finance partners to assist in understanding the financial and operational impact of any business changes 
  • Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of KPIs
  • Assist in streamlining internal reporting to help inform business decisions and show real-time business performance 
  • Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time promotional, operational and/or product-related items/issues
  • Building Business Cases, System Business Requirements, creating Return on Investment proposals and identifying areas of opportunity for efficiency in systems and processes. This requires the ability to take business requirements and work with the WWHS Product Manager to turn them into technical requirements
  • Maintain, build and manipulate models for scenario planning and ROI analyses. Across all areas, have a focus on developing data-based recommendations and solutions. Examples include:
    • Maintenance and development of an Engagement Program Model
    • Engagement Program Management and Product Analytics including tracking and reporting key KPIs: segmentation of members, engagement, retention, weight loss (and others)
    • Strategic Support and Enhancement Recommendations
  • Plan and coordinate the development of market research studies in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives, as required and presents findings of studies to leadership

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a business analyst or performing similar functions
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate highly complex information clearly for all audiences
  • Proven experience working with large data sets
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills in a team setting
  • Detail-oriented, analytical and inquisitive
  • Demonstrated ability to provide structure and drive towards solutions/resolutions to effectively deliver results in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Strong problem definition and solving ability with high attention to detail
  • Ability to balance workload and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive self-starter able to turn ideas into execution
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Google Suite
  • Microsoft Access and/or SQL experience preferred
