We are looking to add a high energy Business Development Associate to help support the Firm’s Sales team. If you come from an Equity Research background and preparing pitch decks and presentations, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Create content and custom presentations for external sales pitches from prospecting through closing that articulate our value proposition specific to each prospect’s investing product objectives
  • Create visually appealing presentations that pictorially or graphically represent the content, product concepts or objectives, workflows and processes
  • Assist salespeople in managing prospect and partner communications and follow-ups throughout the sales life cycle
  • Conduct research and communicate insights, key findings and recommendations to marketing and the sales team on
    • Market/industry trends
    • Competitor analysis
    • Market opportunities/sizing
    • Target prospect profiling
  • Assist with financial modeling of contract pricing
  • Assist with internal sales pipeline tracking and reporting and internal management presentations
  • Attend sales meetings with prospects or clients
  • Potentially attend industry conferences

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an analyst/associate in an investment bank or management consulting firm
  • Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills
  • Highly organized, efficient and detail oriented
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of brokerage financial services and investing products
  • Self starter who can work independently and with cross-functional teams
  • Desire to become a key team member in helping scale a fast-growing startup
  • Start-up mindset - someone who embraces change and a fast-paced environment that may not have all of the structure of a large institution
  • Ability to travel occasionally to prospect or partner meetings when travel resumes as normal
  • Bachelor's degree in related field

Nice to have:

  • Graphic design / product wireframing
  • Advanced financial modeling skills
  • Experience in the brokerage industry or in sales of financial products or enterprise technology software
