Codecademy is looking to supercharge its Growth and is looking for a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Analyst to help improve our funnel and digital marketing performance. This role is responsible for delivering success by analyzing and implementing strategies for: A/B testing website pages, deploying Marketing Landing Pages, and identifying friction points in our acquisition funnel. This role will also be responsible for providing leadership and experience in helping to architect the ideal site experience to our product and engineering teams. This involves the use of A/B testing, product analytics, dynamic content personalization, UX consulting, user journey mapping, heat mapping, and continuous website optimization.

What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and execute on a prioritized backlog of A/B Tests across multiple high traffic pages
- Increase conversion rates to drive trial subscription growth
- Work closely with developers and creative team members to create and QA the A/B test experiences for codecademy.com and external landing pages
- Work and coordinate with external partners and agencies to implement landing page optimizations
- Contribute to development and evolution of CRO strategy, identifying opportunities across the marketing messaging, product onboarding experiences, and checkout experiences
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor the funnel performance
- Identify popular heatmap and clickpath areas of the site
- Forecast, measure, analyze and report on the impact of demand creation activities on sales pipeline, revenue, and retention (end to end funnel analysis).
- Conduct various ad-hoc analyses and reporting leveraging Excel and Looker
- Work with Tech and Product to build and implement tools that support the program when needed
- QA Paid Media and CRM marketing channel event data that integrates into A/B test and landing page analytics
- Document and articulate steps taken in an analysis to project managers
What You’ll Need:
- 2 to 4 years of analyst experience, 1+ year of digital marketing or digital product analyst experience
- Comfortable diving into data to perform ad-hoc analyses and articulating data needs
- Working knowledge of web analytics and online testing applications such as: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize360/Optimizely, Hotjar, DataStudio/Looker, and MixPanel/Amplitude
- Experience with testing and optimizing design and messaging for mobile sites and landing pages
- Experience creating buy in from multiple stakeholders in a collaborative cross-functional environment
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Ability to write SQL queries and/or pull data using Python/R
- Familiarity with editing website code in HTML, CSS, & JavaScript
- Ability to pick up new technologies quickly and comprehensively
- Experience in building landing pages in: Unbounce, Instapage, Hubspot, or Leadpages
- Statistical Significance testing experience
