What This Position Does to Help VTS Succeed

In this role, you will join a Data Insights Product Team as part of VTS Data. You will translate data into actionable insights and data products including, research reports and digital products. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for drawing insight from our VTS data, and other sources to identify, locate and analyze specific commercial real estate industry trends at both the market level and the individual property/portfolio level
  • Collect, clean and analyze data relating to commercial real estate market fundamentals
  • Update regularly scheduled market reports covering office market segments, and create new report products as needed
  • Conduct on-going data quality work, and define improvement in the data collection process to ensure data integrity
  • Develop deep domain expertise on our datasets, the underlying process and behaviors through these datasets and relationships with measurable economic phenomena and market trends

What Makes You Awesome for Data Insights Team:

  • Experience analyzing Commercial Real Estate (CRE) market data
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Knowledge of CRE market fundamental, data research and ability to creatively detect, locate, and identify pertinent data via the internet and third party sources
  • Experience with data quality and validation in commercial real estate domain
  • Familiar with technical concepts, research concepts, and analysis
  • Strong research background, computer skills, and attention to detail required
  • Experience using database BI tools such as Looker or Tableau 
  • A bachelor’s degree or a master degree preferably in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Real Estate, Operations Research or a related discipline
