We are looking for a Data Engineer who is ready for the next step in their continuing journey toward excellence. In this technology leadership role, you’ll work with a team of Data Engineers and Analysts across R&D to help architect, design and implement the next generation of our data infrastructure. This entails building ETL pipelines to combine disparate data sources in a unified data lake, creating tools to automate processes and workflows, and developing Machine Learning algorithms to drive growth, efficiency and impact the bottom line.

It’s an exciting time to join Conductor as we just raised $150 million at a $525 million valuation to build out our technology. We are looking for some additional rock stars to help us get to the next level!

What you'll do

• Design and implement data storage structures and scalable, distributed ETL pipelines to bring disparate data sources into a unified data lake in AWS cloud
• Use ML/AI techniques to enhance customer engagement, understand customer behavior and automate user outreach
• Develop and design procedures, systems and measurement tools to automate and optimize business processes
• Replace legacy systems with more modern and up-to-date data pipelines and operational systems
• Develop and enhance internal reporting platform

Who you are

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field

• 6+ years of experience in a data engineering role
• Experience with Python, Java, SQL; familiarity with Go, Scala or a similar language a bonus
• Experience with APIs, data formats (CSV, JSON, HTML, etc.) and data transformations
• Experience with Cloud computing technologies: AWS (S3, SQS, EC2, Athena, etc.), Google Cloud Platform, etc.
• Experience with Columnar and Non-Relational Database technologies
• Experience with Data Quality/Quality Assurance
• Familiarity with technologies such as Spark, Kafka, etc.
• Familiarity with modern containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Familiarity with AI/ML techniques
