Overview

The Data Analyst, Business Systems is a key member of the Business Systems team at VICE Media. This position is primarily responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results. The individual will work closely with the Business Systems Manager to provide data analysis and transformation to enable the successful execution of projects. The data analyst supports a project through its lifecycle based on requirement collection, design and project activities.

Position Summary

Organizational Relationships:

Partner with operations and Information Systems team to ensure consistent data integrity processes are followed.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• BS in Finance, Accounting Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
• Prior experience in migration of financial data from multiple ERP into one ERP
• Strong understanding of accounting/financial data
• Proven working experience as a data analyst
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Experience with medium-to-large size media organizations comprised of multinational corporate entities
