The Site & Marketing Analyst plays a critical role in Maisonette’s data-driven efforts. This position is responsible for the creation of actionable website insights, reporting, and measurement. The goal of these activities is to advance the company’s knowledge of the eCommerce website (a marketplace with over 25,000 products and growing!) and marketing channels (paid, email, content, social) to drive growth. The ideal candidate will possess a balance of analytical, technical, and communication skills. This role will support the Marketing, Product, and Content/ Creative teams.
Site & marketing reporting:
Develop and maintain data reports that enable site and marketing teams to understand business performance
Collaborate with other teams to optimize Maisonette’s digital properties and evangelize data tools like a/b testing (SiteSpect) and product analytics (Amplitude & Google Analytics)
Partner closely with functional marketing team members to provide analysis and actionable insight into business problems
Collaborate with Analytics Engineers and business partners to model and transform data
Support learning agendas for the site and other A/B tests; help drive adoption of a test and learn mindset
Experience working in e-commerce
High-level Marketing domain knowledge and experience with analytics tagging
Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Looker preferred, Tableau, Data Studio, etc.)
Natural curiosity in using data to understand what drives customer behavior
A keen eye for quality and detail
Bonus Points: experience with snowflake and comfortable to do advanced analysis in Python/ R
