The Role:

We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics team. The right candidate combines technical expertise with strategic vision to find data-driven insights and solutions for our company, recognizing that our clients and senior management depend on your analyses to drive the business forward. 

Our Data Analysts work collaboratively across multiple departments and act as a strategic partner to Executives, Customer Success, Product, and Customer Support teams. We're looking for creative problem solvers with excellent communication skills who are able to turn conceptual direction into actionable insights and push the company’s thinking forward, while serving as a go-to resource for data needs from across Rocketrip.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze travel-related datasets to understand client behavior and uncover trends
• Create in-depth and polished reports for C level executives to convey how Rocketrip is doing and where there are opportunities for improvement
• Develop a deep understanding of our budget algorithms and methodologies, and their applications
• Maintain and add to our dashboards

Requirements:

• 2+ years of work experience in strategy consulting, data analysis, business intelligence or a relevant field
• Knowledge of SQL, Excel, and Tableau is a must; experience with Python, Pandas, and statistical analysis is a plus
• Meticulously detail-oriented and able to distill large amounts of data in a beautifully-presented, meaningful story
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and handle multiple projects at a time, acting both independently and as an integral member of the Data Analytics team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
