If you answered yes to all three questions you might be our new Intern.

We are looking for a data junkie to help us build reporting around our sales and product. We want to track everything from our website traffic, sales dialer, CRM data, and beyond. We need someone who likes to work with data to create useful and impactful reporting.

The Role

As our reporting analyst you will learn how our company can track progress to predict revenue and success. You will work with our messy data to give everyone from our sales reps to our CEO a clear visual story on how the company, people, and processes are performing.

• You will work with tabular data and JSON

• You will have to work with technologies like Google Analytics, and Salesforce API

• You will have to understand the context of the data in our different business departments

• You will have to be our expert in where the data comes from and how it gets created

• You will build actual charts and graphs that the non technical need to read and make really important decisions

Betterfin is a fintech company helping everyday people who own businesses navigate the financing industry. Our platform connects with banks, bureaus, lenders, and other technologies to provide a data rich product experience like no other. We are funded by Y-Combinator and Initialized (Alexis Ohanion, Co-Founder of Reddit). We have a laid back work vibe and a dog friendly office in Williamsburg.

Your Qualification

This is an entry level position

• You should know excel really well, shame on you if you don’t

• Experience with Python, specifically creating charts and graphs

• Experience working with data (SQL, Pandas), creating metrics, aggregating, joining very messy data

• Interest in working with people from all disciplines, marketing, sales, executives
