What You’ll Do
As a Data Analyst on Veeva Data Cloud, you will own analyses focused on improving the quality of our data products. Data is central to the success of our products - both in quality and coverage.
You will be responsible for analyzing data to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality. You will identify gaps in current data sets as well as design new attributes to continue to help customers improve their use of data. You’ll be responsible for communicating your findings, providing recommendations on any findings, and designing product and data enhancements where needed.

- Explore and derive insights from high volumes of data to evaluate data quality and extract actionable insights from the data
- Execute data querying, cleansing and analysis
- Build expertise on the data in Veeva Data Cloud, including inbound data sources
- Exploratory analytics to find data issues and provide recommendations for fixing
- Test changes in the data (both planned and unplanned) to determine impact on customers
- Build new attributes for both internal and customer facing use, to continue to improve usability of the data
- Collaborate closely with a team of Data Scientists, Product Managers and Developers to ensure data is built and delivered with quality
What You’ve Done
- 4+ years experience in a highly analytical and data intensive role
- Experience with Python, SQL and Excel
- Experience doing analytics across large sets of data
- Understand how relational databases work, and experience designing transformations, mappings and working with reference tables
- Experience investigating data issues and working with a cross-functional team for addressing
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Spotfire
- Energized by working through complex problems and bringing innovation to products
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related technical field
Nice to have
- Experience working with healthcare data (prescription and medical claims)
- Experience working with AWS
- Experience in the Life Sciences industry
- Experience working with an agile team
