Data Analyst (NY, NY): Responsibilities & duties will incl, but are not limited to, the following:

Partner with Product, Design and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and

opportunities; Utilize data to understand use of the Unqork platform and generate improvement

insights for product and design teams; Define and support the data collection strategy; Work with

client teams on implementing machine learning models using Google AutoML and DataRobot;

Integrate 3rd party alternative data in applications via APIs; Partner with finance team to build

models for revenue prediction; Partner with sales team in developing simulations for data

products to be presented to prospective clients; Build ML models for insurance premium pricing

and fraud detection using no code tools; Communicate and present data-driven insights to

different cross functional teams; Generate reproducible analyses and partner with data

engineering team to implement them in our ETL framework; Assist in furthering a data-driven

culture within the company.

Must have a Master’s

Degree in Math, Physics, Engineering or Statistics; 1.5 years’ experience

performing advanced analytics using structured and unstructured data; 1+ years’ experience

partnering with sales teams developing and presenting data solutions to prospective clients;

Advanced expertise in SQL, R and Python; Experience with building machine learning models;

Experience with automated ML tools such as Google AutoML or DataRobot; Demonstrated

ways of integrating large scale financial data providers to provide data solutions; Experience

with Fintech techniques such as fraud detection, transaction dispute resolution, etc.; Experience

building models with financial data to estimate credit scores, price insurance premiums etc.;

Basic knowledge of statistics; Building neat visual representation of data using BI tools such as

Tableau. Any suitable combo of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
