Cherre is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for guaranteeing the quality of the insights we produce for our customers. You will analyze data to validate output from our models and research. Candidates must be familiar with basic data science / machine learning concepts and have a background in big data analysis.
The work we do at Cherre involves lots and lots of data - our customers seek many different types of information to power their real estate decisions. The ideal candidate has a background in real estate and is comfortable with communicating their results to non-technical users.
We are remote-first company.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our ML and Product teams during the R&D phase of development and QA
- Understand customer problems and provide data-driven insights as to how Cherre is solving their problems
- Analyze and profile new data sources
- Become a “knowledge resource” within the company
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or other relevant subjects.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, particularly with big data sets (millions of rows)
- Knowledge of statistical methods for checking data quality
- Strong SQL experience
- Experience with data programming languages (Python, R)
Nice to have
- Background in commercial real estate
- Experience using data science / machine learning techniques
- Working knowledge of GCP or like environments Experience with visualization tools (Looker)
