Data Engineer
Teachable is looking for a backend data engineer. We're a small, tight-knit team of smart people who get a lot done with minimal overhead. We collaborate on roadmap, design, and architecture, and are on a mission to revolutionize education.
As a Data Engineer, you’ll work with cutting-edge technology, streaming events produced by thousands of instructors and millions of students. You will build ETL processes incorporating both first- and third-party data, and build APIs to deliver insights to applications accessed by both internal and external customers. You will work to create beautiful systems that are robustly designed to meet the needs of a quickly growing user base.
We're interested in someone who wants to work with large and varied data sets in a streaming and batch capacity, and who is genuinely interested in encouraging data driven thinking, processes, and features at Teachable. Although no specific set of skills is required, you should have some software development experience (Python is preferable) and be able to write a decent SQL query.
