ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a data operations analyst to work as part of the Data Operations team to help maintain and improve our high standards of data quality as we scale. The role is a great fit for anyone with a passion for solving riddles, the desire to build a process out of anything, and the aspirations to grow within the fields of data and operations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Gatekeeper for Quality Control

• Perform day-to-day operations including reviewing initial data intake for quality assessment and compatibility
• Develop deep familiarity with our ETLs and points of weakness
• Partner with data analysts to improve validation processes
  

Workflow Operations Specialist

• Assign tasks with continually shifting requirements while maintaining data integrity
• Continuously refine workflows to maximize efficiency and identify opportunities for automation
• Define and track key metrics for meaningful and actionable insight
  

Master of Communication

• Key point of contact for data specialists, analysts, project managers and business teams
• Focus on initiatives to address user concerns and feedback loops
• Work with BI teams to enhance reporting dashboards and improve data capture specifications
  

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Highly organized and methodical
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Familiarity with data quality assessment methods
• Hands on experience with data cleansing
• Working knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases
• Highly proficient in Excel
