Data Quality Analyst
Peloton is looking for a proactive and motivated Business Systems Analyst to support the Enterprise Data team’s mission of enabling data integrity throughout the Enterprise applications and systems with a focus on Data Quality reporting and Metadata Management capture. In this role, you will interact with multiple stakeholders across the organization and will be instrumental in developing best-in class solutions. You should feel comfortable analyzing, diagnosing and shaping IT data problems, while developing business requirements for strategic Data Governance projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in data discovery, data identification activities within multiple data domains (e.g. Customer, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain)
- Support the implementation of the Data Governance program, including metadata management and data quality
- Drive data quality implementation from building data quality rules in CDQ to deploying data quality dashboards
- Develop, design, and maintain data quality Tableau dashboards and analytics with CDQ results across data domains
- Help define data quality controls in alignment with industry best practices
- Drive data quality processes to be integrated into data governance framework
- Scope and execute solutions to provide tactical, interim, or long term fixes to data quality and infrastructure issues
- Create scalable approach for data quality reporting and remediation
- Work with stakeholders to identify critical data elements and their associated data quality rules
- Understand and transform client expectations into technical requirement
- Coordinate with data stewards and stakeholders to establish data definitions for the business glossary and maintain all metadata in Informatica Axon and EDC
- Identify, manage, and maintain artifacts required to implement metadata management and data quality
- Facilitate consistent adoption of data principles, policies, standards and frameworks across the enterprise, demonstrating the value added by adoption
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related field
- 3+ years of related experience in a business analyst, data analyst, data-driven or equivalent role
- 2-3 years of visualization/Reporting Tools (prefer Tableau)
- SQL language proficiency (prefer Redshift and PostgreSQL DB)
- Knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, data mapping, data analysis, and data visualization
- Extensive experience in developing and managing dashboards and reports in Tableau
- Knowledge of design principles and quality processes
- Experience in exploring, profiling and manipulating data sets using SQL
- Demonstrable experience with metrics gathering, tracking and reporting
- Must have experience working simultaneously with multiple stakeholders, sponsors, and business partners, exhibiting an ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Experience implementing data governance framework (data quality management, metadata management)
- Capable of collecting business requirements and using them to guide implementation of a technical solution
- Understanding of database architecture concepts and how to navigate data lineage
- Experience in facilitating requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge or experience with Informatica data governance tools (i.e. Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), Axon, CDQ, IICS)
- ETL tools experience
- Agile (SCRUM) experience
- Functional knowledge or experience with ERP Systems (i.e. SAP)
- Experience in the retail industry
- Experience with identifying, organizing and utilizing data (customer, product) for fulfilling analytical use cases
- Knowledge of data governance practices, including data stewards practices, metadata and data quality
