What We Are Looking For:

We are currently seeking a Director of Analytics to join and help grow our Operations team in NYC. You will be responsible for working across the Ad Operations team including Account Managers and Analysts to ensure accurate data collection, processing, modeling, and analysis. You will work with leaders across internal teams, clients, and technology teams to support and implement high-quality, data driven decisions that provide an unmatched product for patient first outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead the Analytics department to create a standard measurement framework for optimization, performance insights and campaign performance; reinforce data-driven decision making
  • Advance our ability to target/segment our audiences for optimized campaign performance
  • Provide thoughtful and data-driven reporting for all campaigns, including performance insights and optimization recommendations
  • Use your mastery of analytics to help Account Managers tell their story using data within client facing reports and client meetings
  • Apply your technical expertise to help solve, inform, influence, support, and execute our decisions for all our clients
  • Work with tools, such as SQL, Python or R, and visualization tools such as Tableau or Google Data Studio to combine various data sets for adhoc and diagnostic analyses
  • Effectively communicate with external clients and internal teams to deliver solutions in a timely fashion
  • Owns campaign reporting-related technologies, systems and databases; effectively troubleshoots data-mining, data-integration and data-quality issues
  • Forecast, measure, and analyze the impact of campaigns on the holistic lifecycle and revenue
  • Deploy best-practices managing ad-serving and data extraction/integration solutions
  • Provide subject matter expertise for advanced analytics topics related to targeting, measurement and optimization, and custom business challenges

Who You Are:

  • You have a great passion for digital and an understanding of the digital advertising landscape; experience in healthcare is a plus!
  • Have a desire to work in a rapidly growing and ever-changing startup
  • You are detail oriented and organized, with flexibility to work on diverse projects and clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident in presenting to clients with the ability to convey complex concepts in a way that is easy for clients, internal teams, and non-technical partners to understand
  • Has experience analyzing and drawing recommendations from large datasets using various analytics software
  • Has outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises, and cloud-based data sources
  • Experience using analytics and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing applicable recommendations for clients

What You’ve Accomplished:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, and/or Engineering
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of working experience in working in the digital marketing field, with an emphasis on DSP or Programmatic
  • Preferred experience and understanding of the healthcare industry
  • Experience with leading an analytics team
  • Experience with a coding language (Python, R, SQL, etc) a plus
  • Familiar with various tools such as: Excel, Tableau, and Google Data Studio
