About the team & Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Director ofCustomer Reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) for our behavioral health company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BI design, data analysis, and customer reporting, as well as expertise in AWS, Google Looker, and other data tools. This role will be responsible for leading the design and development of customer reports and dashboards, as well as providing insights to drive business decisions and improve the overall customer experience.Responsibilities:

  • Customer facing representing the organization as the SME in all things data and analytics related and a direct partner to market teams.
  • Be present in all strategic client discussions to offer insights on how data and information can contribute to enhancing relationships, overall program performance, and generating new ideas for advancing patient value.
  • Provide superior customer service while managing relationships with end users, business leaders, and others to ensure service delivery exceeds expectations
  • Lead the design and development of customer reports and dashboards using AWS, Google Looker, and other BI tools
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends and patterns, and provide insights to drive business decisions related to customer acquisition, retention, and engagement
  • Lead calls with clients around reporting capabilities and upcoming reporting enhancements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Operations, to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Lead a team of analysts to support customer reporting and BI initiatives and ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in BI design, data analysis, and customer reporting
  • Manage and support the delivery of ongoing development and enhancements to organization’s business intelligence platform; oversee design and implementation of critical enhancements to reporting and dashboards
  • Catalog and understand standard and repeatable insights presented during business reviews; develop automated solutions for repeat analysis
  • Manage the internal reporting and analytics to ensure sustained scalability in the expansion of the overall capabilities
  • Provides support for data and analytics solutions; perform triage on incidents, troubleshoot issues, and resolve while communicating with stakeholders
  • Utilizes sound development life cycle practices, adheres to established processes, and documents delivery of application solutions, including business analysis, design, testing, implementation, and support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field or requisite experience; Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in product design, BI design, data analysis, and customer reporting, preferably in healthcare or related industries
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in data analysis, modeling, and visualization tools such as AWS, Google Looker, SQL, R, Python, etc.
  • Strong experience in BI design and development
  • Experience in managing and developing a team of analysts
  • Externally focused and proactive communication.  Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of behavioral health industry and associated data sets is preferred
