Who we are looking for:

As Director of Data Partnerships, you will be focused on initiating and fostering some of our most strategic relationships with providers of contextual targeting solutions. You will be managing everything from opportunity assessment, contract negotiation, product integration, and creating innovative opportunities that shape how marketers use data to drive campaign decisioning. You enjoy an entrepreneurial, competitive, and rapidly shifting environment, are excited to cross-collaborate with just about every department in the company, and have the chops to lead some of the most strategic partnership initiatives in programmatic.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage existing relationships with 3rd party providers specializing in contextual data and other targeting solutions

  • Work with fellow data partnerships colleagues to identify and negotiate smart, strategic partnership opportunities (based on company initiatives and account team feedback)

  • Drive an optimal relationship structure for partnerships to usher in innovative and revenue-driving solutions

  • Manage partnership deliverables including quarterly business reviews, revenue trend analysis and contributions to product planning sessions

  • Act as a sales enablement resource and support account teams in showcasing the power of data to prospective and existing clients

  • Work cross-functionally with teams across Legal, Finance, Marketing etc. while assuring contractual compliance & offering collaboration on billing management and enhancements

  • Perform industry research and analysis; remain abreast of trends and partner product/segment enhancements, and educate internal teams on the need-to-know with webinars, client support, and training documentation

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university

  • 8+ years of relevant experience

  • Solid experience creating and building differentiated relationships with strategic partners 

  • Solid business development experience, and can connect opportunity with revenue

  • Self-motivated problem-solver comfortable with taking a proactive approach in a dynamic working environment with shifting priorities

  • Must be comfortable with complexity and thinking on multiple levels of abstraction; demonstrated use of critical thinking skills 

  • Experience in digital media, preferably ad tech and data solutions

  • High level of comfort and experience with Excel and Powerpoint as analysis and presentation tools
