The Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to join the Health Data Partnerships team at Veeva. You will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing the partnerships critical to supplying, sustaining, and growing Veeva's data products. This is a highly strategic position that requires a deep understanding of the data ecosystem and Veeva’s mission and product goals. You will support the mission through high-impact initiatives such as developing a partner pipeline, leading conversations and negotiations, managing implementations, and working directly with leadership to support customer success. 

What You'll Do

• Develop a pipeline and evaluate partners for consideration - work cross-functionally with data research, terminology and product teams to assess the value and incrementality of partner data. 
• Manage multiple projects and timelines, from identification, evaluation, and sourcing of partners, through the deployment of technology to reach production.
• Maintain high touch with partners and own customer success. Including managing the delivery of products and services we may provide to our partners.
• Conduct market research and mapping activities to understand and activate the market for available data, the interdependencies between partners, and growth opportunities. 
• Build relationships internally and externally across the ecosystem. Represent Veeva, our data efforts, and our products in discussions - think creatively on how to structure partnerships based on need. 
• Understand the product and data ambitions (including end-customer feedback), and provide the analyses and insights to positively influence and support organizational efforts. 

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem, including specific understanding of key partners
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare data 
• Functional knowledge of health care privacy laws, regulations and de-identification methods
• Proven experience in leading negotiations, including the ability the think quickly and strategically
• Experience leading cross-functional projects in an organized and efficient fashion
• Great with people: teamwork, communication, stakeholder management, and relationship building
• Strong executive presence, presentation skills, and the ability to present and interface with senior leaders
• Entrepreneurial, problem-solver, critical thinker, strong attention to detail, curious 

Nice to Have

• Previous experience leading partner negotiations, not just data sales
• Familiarity with existing syndicated data products and data aggregators
