WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Engage Financial Sector Business Stakeholders on Data driven business objectives
• Financial industry SME, having worked in Banking/Trading/Data Aggregation or similar industries
• Equally be capable to engage technical and business stakeholders to discuss and understand business and IT objectives
• Lead Data Platform and analytical transformation and enablement presales activities, inclusive of RFPs, strategy definition, digital transformation roadmaps, etc
• Transform customer vision & requirements to specific functional problems and associated technologies
• Be proficient in data processing patterns and approaches
• Engage on SOW preparations, formulation of phased delivery approaches, team composition, etc
• Act as a data/product visionary helping customers with their data needs and current pain points
• Mentor and coach clients and team members on best of breed technologies and approaches to address specific business objectives
• Be able to prepare for and run Discovery activities helping the customer and the team obtain necessary business knowledge to ensure successful implementation phases to follow
• Ensure the strategy is actionable and well documented for a clean handover to implementation
• Deliver clear and consistent communications within projects and across stakeholders of all levels
• Lead meetings, design activities, review sessions and retrospectives

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ Years of Financial Industry Experience or Consulting experience
• Proven track record of pre-sales engagements which resulted with awarded business
• Be competent in Big Data and Cloud technologies with primary focus on
• Cloud data platforms, BI, data warehousing, data lakes
• Data science & predictive analytics
• Architectural background is a big plus
• Be a technologist, delivering data processing platforms, analytical solutions of data aggregation plants
• Formal Information Systems Management education is a plus
• Have a proven track of large data processing platform delivery for internal and/or external customers
• Practical knowledge to participate in and influence solution design discussions
• Experience managing medium to large-scale software/technology initiatives
• Experience managing projects using Agile methodologies
• A keen interest in and passion for the Data & Analytics space
• Experience managing large delivery teams in various geographies
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Ability to develop technical documentation, complex RFP responses, business- and IT-oriented presentations
• Experience driving engagement with Senior level stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple complex engagements simultaneously
• Ability to form the teams that are best suited for a specific business challenge
• Desire to learn & expand your comfort zone whenever a new technological trend in Data & Analytics arises
• Ability to work with challenging clients and objectives
• Knowledge of industry regulations is a plus

• This position operates in a remote capacity, but you must live within driving distance to an EPAM office. Your recruiter will discuss specific details about work location during the initial interview process
