We are looking for an analytical and creative problem solver to help lead all analytics & data endeavors for our Growth team. Reporting to the Manager, Growth Analytics, you will play a critical role in attacking opaque, unstructured problems; develop core analytic frameworks that establish consistency and shape the way the company thinks about our business.
Who are you? You are a technical Growth/analytics operator who is excited about identifying pockets of opportunity across our different marketing channels and user flows. You thrive in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment, and can navigate the intricacies of working as a connection between Growth and other teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Leverage data to shape the Growth team’s strategy, providing support and/or thought leadership wherever needed
- Perform exploratory analyses and in-depth research on large data sets to uncover, size, and advocate for opportunities that improve the member experience and key Growth KPIs like member conversion and retention
- Act as a liaison between the Growth and Finance teams, helping determine monthly targets, pacing, and strategic initiatives
- Build out data availability and business intelligence solutions for the Growth team utilizing BI tools such as Looker & Metabase
- Lead the Growth team’s experiment roadmap, helping channel managers form hypotheses, structure the test, analyze results, and present the findings
- Build a data-driven culture wherever you turn, from working with channel managers & leadership on measurement to partnering with analysts on data models, to making sure that all decisions accurately utilize the most pertinent data available
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- 3 -5 years of full-time working experience in quantitative analysis roles
- Expert-level SQL skills
- Strong experience using BI tools (ours is Looker) to effectively convey information
- A track record of strong communication successes, from presentations to technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical aptitude, and numerical dexterity
- The ability to bring structure to initially unstructured domains
- Demonstrated track record of project ownership
- You care about improving the state of healthcare and have a personal connection to the space
Bonus Points:
- Working knowledge of Python and associated analytics libraries (Pandas, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Google Marketing Platform tools and products
- Experience setting up and evaluating experiments
