IMO Data Analyst
Responsibilities
The Integration Analyst will be a key member of Discovery's Integration Management Office ("IMO") and will have primary responsibility for managing the data exchange process for large scale M&A integration efforts, ensuring process timeliness, transparency, and accuracy. The Analyst will also support the IMO and its leadership to deliver further process and planning activities as required.
The position will demand very strong organizational skills, structuring capabilities, and attention to detail, along with a track record of successful collaboration/partnership with members of cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
Data Management and Processing (80%)
• Managing the pipeline of data requests from business stakeholder teams across multiple functions and geographies
• Owning and updating the central data tracker and associated process documentation, with a keen eye towards accuracy
• Supporting and documenting prioritization and timing decisions related to data requests
• Working closely with Legal to manage the review and approval of data requests
• Coordinating data received by Discovery and administering within a cloud environment
• Organizing data files received in a digestible manner, as necessary
• Validating user access to data and ensuring confidentiality measures are in place for access as appropriate
• Communicating with stakeholders on matters and questions related to data requests, data files, and data flow
IMO Coordination and Updates (20%)
• Preparing status reports and meeting materials to update the IMO on progress
• Assist with other IMO-related activities, as required
Qualifications
2-3 years of relevant experience in business planning and/or administration
• Extensive experience with creation and maintenance of spreadsheets
• Strong facilitation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to interact with senior level stakeholders and exchange complex information in a simple way
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience managing and navigating complex situations
• Comfortable working on sensitive and confidential matters and exercises appropriate discretion
• Experience in a global business environment
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States
