Company Description:

Quartet is a pioneering healthcare technology company striving to improve the lives of people with mental health conditions. We connect people to a personalized care team to get them the right care at the right time. Our collaborative technology platform and range of services brings together physicians, mental health providers, and insurance companies to effectively improve patient outcomes and drive down healthcare costs. Backed by $153MM in venture funding from top investors like Oak HC/FT, GV (formerly Google Ventures), F-Prime Capital Partners, Polaris Partners and Centene Corporation, Quartet is headquartered in NYC and is currently operating in several markets across the United States — Pennsylvania, Washington, Northern California, New Jersey, North Carolina, Louisiana, and Illinois.

About the team & Opportunity:

Quartet is looking for a Data Integration Specialist to manage relationships with our health care customers and vendors in order to integrate their data sources into our data ecosystem.

This position requires outstanding communication and project management skills, a deep understanding of the healthcare data landscape, technical stack for data munging and quality assurance, and the tenacity to execute against competing deliverables in a timely, high-quality fashion.

The Data Integration Specialist will collaborate with numerous teams - both internal and external - to source data Quartet needs to operate, helping to ensure that the scope and direction of each procurement and processing is on schedule. You’ll interact primarily with Quartet's data engineers, partnering with them to develop our data pipeline and transform our partners data into standard models, Quartet’s data science and business intelligence teams to communicate or update new issues in ongoing feeds, as well as Quartet’s implementation and client success teams to effectively share progress and priorities and negotiate the exchange of healthcare data with our partners.

You'll represent the Quartet data teams during customer meetings, where you will collaborate with our data partners to extract the right data elements from their internal systems and ensure they map to the data points needed for Quartet's standard operating processes. You'll be responsible for high-level data validation and owning internal and external communications when data quality expectations aren't fully met. As we grow as a company and department, we regularly make process refinements and you'll be tasked with enhancing data on-boarding playbooks as we learn more from each new engagement.

Accountabilities

  • Manage relationships with various partners, including Medical Insurers, Health Systems, 3rd Party Data Vendors, and open data sources
  • Understand and represent Quartet's data interests in discussions with customers
  • Translate requested extracts into Quartet's standard models
  • Provide quality assurance to data sources
  • Communicate and mitigate updates or issues within Quartet’s data pipeline

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills to develop partnerships with key customer stakeholders
  • Experience and understanding of healthcare claims data
  • Ability to write SQL queries to validate and explore data
  • Experience working with both highly technical teams and non-technical teams; ability to communicate effectively to both

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with electronic health records data, or other healthcare data sources
  • Conversational understanding of data science activities and technologies (ETL, predictive models, etc...)
  • Python (nice to have)
  • Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources
