International Logistics Analyst
The Role
A critical member of the Peloton International Freight Team, accountable for developing and managing Exports and Air operations. The primary focus will be to develop a best in class International carrier management. This position will be responsible for all air and ocean carrier management. The ideal candidate has an understanding of the international shipping industry, a proven track record of carrier management and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage Exports from the US to APAC, EMEA and AU
- Manage port to door (for air freight)
- KPI creation to manage and lead MBR and QBR
- Management of all data sources including quality and accuracy. Be able to understand and clearly communicate data to all levels of the organization.
- Analyze and understand destination port portfolio and impacts to flow
- Anticipate and Improve processes
- Increasing awareness of the cost and service impact of logistics on overall supply chain performance.
- Relentlessly combating freight rates and accessorial charges.
- Manage Lead time uncertainties and on-time delivery charges.
- Understanding of freight capacity constraints.
- Empty container availability
- Understand and develop relationships with Middle Mile Transportation and Planning
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate business systems or processes globally.
- Have effective and honest communications with supporting facts with all internal functions.
- Promote and facilitate the establishment of continuous improvement tools
- Identify mid to long term logistics needs to support the growth of the business, develop and implement new logistics models
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required - Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or similar
- Min 2-4 year experience in Logistics
- Experience in all areas of responsibility
- Experience with Logistics Control Tower a plus
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Google Suite/Microsoft Office
