Crossix is seeking an intellectually curious, resourceful, and collaborative Analytics Products Associate to join our team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to help us build out the technology and data methodologies that power our business.

What you’ll do

  • Leverage cutting-edge technology and analytics capabilities to design tools used to help healthcare clients plan, measure and optimize their marketing campaigns
    • Work to develop and standardize the Crossix suite of analytics products and data methodologies
    • Master core parts of the Crossix technology platform to serve as expert product support for Crossix analysts and other staff. Technologies include Spark, SQL, Python, R, Weka, AWS, and other proprietary data mining software.
    • Implement machine learning algorithms to support Crossix’s propensity modeling platform and other analyses
    • Perform analyses on large data sets of health and consumer data to assess marketing effectiveness, uncover insights to drive optimization decisions, or support planning and strategies
    • Assist in onboarding and evaluation of new types of health care, media, and consumer data
    • Troubleshoot data anomalies and inconsistencies; work with our analysts to improve the efficiencies of analyses and technical processes
    • Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams while working on innovative, data-driven projects
      • Work with client services and analyst teams to identify opportunities for improvements in Crossix analytics products
      • Assist in development, testing, and rollout of new methodologies and tools
      • Assist and lead internal training on analytics products, tools, and best practices
    • Employ and develop advanced analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
      • Build expertise in media and healthcare related subject matter areas like digital advertising, electronic health records, etc.
      • Develop data and analytical skills across data cleansing, techniques for data analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization
      • Participate in product development efforts and company-wide initiatives

    What You've Done

    • 4-year college degree from top school with strong academic performance and a major in math, economics, computer science, or related technical field
    • 3-5 years of post-grad experience
    • Hands-on experience with some programming languages such as Python (preferred), R, Java, C++, etc. required.
    • Experience with data visualization tools like Spotfire (preferred), Tableau a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Quantitative interest, demonstrated through coursework or professional experience
    • Interest in applying the power of “Big Data” within a business/product context
    • Practical SQL and database experience
    • “Can-do” attitude and approach
    • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable contributing as a team player
    • Exposure to marketing and/or healthcare is a plus
