As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:

  • Work closely with the hardware engineering team to produce optimal imaging solutions using latest developments in image analysis, and connecting ML applications with camera hardware performance
  • Develop signal and image processing algorithms for image enhancement and classification on large datasets of annotated ophthalmic images
  • Work closely with software and firmware teams for implementation of the image processing algorithms into product hardware
  • Implement and maintain image processing code in programming languages and environments like Python and Matlab
  • Develop methods for image reconstruction for techniques like optical coherence tomography.
  • Implement algorithms in modern machine learning platforms like Tensorflow and/or PyTorch.
