Primary Purpose: The Manager, Tagging & Data Governance role is focused on successfully implementing and embed an innovative new agile delivery methodology within the data and analytics function, in collaboration with the broader business. They will be responsible for developing the technology and process approach to create and communicate an effective roadmap of deliverables across all site tagging and data governance efforts while balancing a variety of technical stakeholder requirements and day to day activities. This role will be responsible to collaborate, manage analytics tagging projects and to solve data quality issues across Tapestry ecommerce business, including the centralized Digital team, IT, and Brand Marketing/CRM, and Creative teams.

- Support the tagging and data governance team in the overall successful delivery of the analytic projects
- Partner with IT to enhance the existing data structure and define the data governance framework
- Build and manage the end-to-end project plan, and monitor/report progress.
- Effectively manage scope and dependencies. Identify risks and issues and proactively resolve/mitigate them.
- Ensure that the analytics project is delivered to time and quality
- Support strong data governance i.e. maintaining data quality, user management and other data governance initiative supported by the team, aligned with the overall governance, and ensure that timely decisions are taken
- Develop analytics requirements, document, and assist with QA of dataLayer implementation within a variety of platforms and environments
- Communicate regularly and effectively with project stakeholders
- Train and direct a team of analysts; business stockholders to successfully use analytics
The accomplished individual will possess…
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience with an emphasis in fashion ecommerce business and/or Retail
- Experience of management of data and analytics projects
- Experience of working on projects that have involved the introduction of new ways of working, processes, and methodologies into a business
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, Micro Strategy and Google Analytics
- Experience with tag management systems, debuggers, display advertising, email, SEM, social media, marketing automation, personalization, and attribution models, required
- Experience with ecommerce and digital marketing analytics
- Ability to access, manipulate, analyze, trend and interpret data
- General HTML/javascript knowledge a plus
- Advanced Excel capabilities
- Strong organizational, written communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Business, Economics, Computer Science or related field preferred
- Highly proficient in Project Management principles, methods, techniques and tools
- Experience managing digital agencies
- Experience of working with-in and managing of agile/SCRUM projects
