Joining Collibra's Workforce Planning and Analytics team:

Collibra seeks a determined, highly independent leader to help shape and drive its People Analytics and Workforce Planning efforts. This high-impact role will report to our Sr. Director, People Operations and will work directly with senior leaders, executive leaders and People Partners in every organization across the company. Ability to easily work with Senior Management – can effectively interface at many levels with executives. The role will have a direct impact on Collibra’s strategic initiatives around analytics and workforce planning.

The Manager, People Analytics & Workforce Planning is responsible for:

  • Drive Collibra’s workforce planning effort by understanding the strategies of our business and the impact of emerging technology, market shifts, and workforce changes to identify talent needs for the future and establish a strategy to ensure the right mix of talent, technologies, and employment models to get us to a state of continual workforce planning across the organization
  • Implement and regularly update an end-to-end workforce planning process, including design, plan, and deployment of the workforce strategy with relevant tools and frameworks.
  • Lead the People Analytics team to be successful in delivering on its mission, “We believe that all Collibrians should feel empowered to make data-driven decisions using people-related data.”
  • Utilizing strong business acumen and data analytics expertise to deliver analytics solutions, communicate insights, and advise leaders in interpreting and applying findings to support their broader People or business objectives
  • Ensure data integrity by identifying root causes of data discrepancies, implementing solutions in partnership with our People Operations team.


You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of work experience. Proven and recurring success working as a leader in a Workforce Planning or resource management role
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with a broad variety of stakeholders and partners and and willingness to operate at strategic and practical level in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced operating in a senior Analytics role preferably within an People team
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, complex, and ambiguous environment; Agile mindset and ability to pivot and respond to unexpected project turns - Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to formulate analytic approaches and gather data to solve business problems, develop conclusions and present solutions through data driven storytelling
  • Successfully built and managed workforce plans using Adaptive Insights - hands-on experience working with Tableau, Power BI or similar data visualization tools

  • Able to collect & analyze large quantities of data, provide meaningful information that will answer questions and solve problems


Reporting to Collibra's Director of TA Operations, Manager, People Analytics & Workforce Planning measures of success are:

  • By the end of your first month, you will have established a project plan for getting us to a state of continual workforce planning and helped organize immediate priorities for the People Analytics team
  • By the end of your third month, you will have organized a team to get us to a state of continual workforce planning and oversaw the transformation of our People Data to properly support continual workforce planning
  • By the end of your sixth month, you will have overseen the production of required People Analytics reports and materials and guided the workforce planning team and stakeholders across the organization to a state of continual workforce planning
