JW Player is seeking an accomplished Manager of Strategy & Operations to join our team. This position will report to the Chief Strategy Officer and engage in a wide range of activities including financial analysis, business operations, product strategy, and broader corporate development activities. This role will work closely with other members of C-level management, specifically the CEO and COO.

In this role, the candidate will:

• Build and own the Company’s forecast model, including:
• Quarterly forecasting and sensitivity analysis
• Development of business / operational metrics to establish weekly tracking and reporting of Company performance against KPIs
• Support for business development, M&A, etc.
• Leverage data to identify and assess areas of operational inefficiency within existing business operations
• Develop insightful and compelling recommendations and workflows
• Partner with functional teams to drive implementation and monitor long-term ROI
• Further refine the Company’s revenue and bookings model
• Maintain broad corporate development responsibilities, including market sizing and competitive analysis, industry landscape and trend overviews, pricing research, involvement in due diligence processes, and other activities

Requirements:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• A minimum of four (4) years experience in a private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate strategy role
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial modeling
• Exceptional data manipulation, analysis, and presentation skills
• Demonstrable familiarity and knowledge of emerging technologies, with an emphasis on Big Data and SaaS business models
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Highest level of integrity and ability to manage confidential information
