About the Role
Our Portfolio Management team is looking for a dedicated and skilled Associate to monitor the performance of a rapidly expanding portfolio. In this role, you will be exposed to a variety of transactions in asset classes ranging from Real Estate, Legal, Marine, Art and Commercial. This role will report to the Senior Associate of Portfolio Management and Servicing and will be focused on the ongoing management, monitoring and reporting on a diverse portfolio. Additionally, this role will support the creation and development of a centralized portfolio management database, used as a risk management tool to efficiently track deal performance. We have deployed over $1.0B to-date across all asset classes and are looking to grow to $1.0B plus per year.
What you’ll do
- Monitor the performance of investments across a variety of asset classes
- Implement asset specific servicing requirements to facilitate the collection of information from YieldStreet’s origination partners
- Analyze the information collected and track the performance of both individual investments and the aggregate loan portfolio
- Work with origination partners to build the strong lines of communication that generate commentary for the information analysis performed
- Prepare quarterly investor updates in collaboration with the Investor Relations Team that have both qualitative and quantitative aspects
- Collaborate with Investments, Operations, Investor Relations and Technology to elevate material loan portfolio findings to key YieldStreet stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in an asset management and/or credit risk role preferred
- Experience in financial statement analysis, financial modeling or financial valuation; preparing financial information, interpreting financial performance or assessing risk exposure
- Ability to articulate financial concepts and information in both verbal and written forms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to work seamlessly in a cross-functional team environment spanning multiple disciplines
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast paced startup environment
