Yext is seeking a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst (Salesforce). This role is part of the GTM (Go-To-Market) Systems team that is responsible for internal applications supported by IT across Sales, Marketing, Services, Customer Success, Product and Engineering. The right candidate has empathy, curiosity and desire to improve and constantly learn; has broad experience in all the capabilities and functionalities of the Salesforce.com platform; a proven track record of managing stakeholders while driving best practices and end2end processes; hands-on experience with configuring Salesforce; collaborating with developers; and familiarity with APIs, system integrations, SDLC practices, and SOX compliance issues.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a techno-functional subject matter expert (SME) for the Salesforce product suite and adjacent GTM systems; be the point of contact for designated business functions, with full accountability for outcomes.
- Participate and lead requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, requirements and KPIs.
- Analyze and document current and future business process models, high-level requirements (scope), and detailed functional specifications and/or stories; communicate with technical and business teams effectively.
- Develop solutions for customer acquisition and retention processes: from Lead to Quote, Quote-to-Cash (QTC), Support, Renewals, Amendments, Consulting Services, Incentive Compensation.
- Technical Support: Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and document system issues with the rest of the team.
- Evaluate and identify business process gaps and manage projects and system enhancements.
- Identify upstream and downstream impacts of solutions and work with internal and external business partners to effectively convert them to increase ROI.
- Use Salesforce expertise to help deliver a frictionless experience for sellers, customers, and prospects.
- Drive projects and QA processes that enable data quality and governance across systems.
- Automate processes, eliminating redundancy, and improving efficiency without sacrificing end-user experience.
What You Have
- Ability to establish credibility and work with key internal partners to get things done; high degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities with an ownership mindset.
- 7+ Years of experience, with at least 6-7 years implementing and supporting complex and large scale solutions on Salesforce and related systems; CPQ experience strongly preferred.
- Salesforce Certifications: Advanced Administrator, CPQ Specialist, Application Architect, are a big plus.
- Experience working with Salesforce (Sales, Marketing, Service, Community Cloud), Lightning, CPQ, CLM, and Mktg Automation to support marketing, sales, sales operations, deal desk, support, customer success, and consulting operations.
- Exposure to Marketo, Pardot, Apttus CLM, Zuora, Callidus, Zendesk, a big plus.
- Experience with SDLC - including Agile delivery, functional requirements, process modeling, and re-engineering, use case development, user acceptance testing, and large-scale system implementations.
- Experience with BA concepts, eliciting requirements, specifying and managing requirements, proposing business solution design, evaluating and improving solution performance.
- Highly skilled in BA Planning & Methods: Creating data flow diagrams, applying business analysis to IT projects, business architecture, and business process management, requirement specification, modeling, verification and validation.
- Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multicultural, development and testing team, onshore and offshore, internal and external resources.
