What you'll do

• Use data to help inform product decisions and product strategy
• Perform deep dive analysis into specific metrics to understand the underlying influencers driving changes in user behavior
• Prioritize work and deliver data supported insights and analysis
• Work with data partners across various teams to understand end-to-end process flow, identify data integration points and resolve data integrity issues
• Identify business opportunities that could be resolved with systems solutions and innovations. Create reports and present actionable insights to the management team
• Perform data profiling on source systems involving complicated data sets via SQL, identify required transformation rules and integration with other data sources for more powerful data analytics 
• Lead experimentation by providing guidance on the experiments that should be run, how they should be run, and evaluating the impact on our key metrics

Who you are

• Strong proficiency with relational databases and SQL; scripting languages such as Python are a plus
• Experience with Data Visualization tools, Looker an advantage
• At least 4 years experience as a data analyst. Experience leading a product analytics team is a plus
• Self-starter with attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Experimentation and statistical analysis approach to decision making
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; capable of multi-tasking and working on multiple projects at once
• Agile and comfortable wearing multiple hats (PM, Analyst, QA) on small projects
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills, particularly when explaining technical matters
• Degree and/or advanced degree in a quantitative field, preferred
