We are currently seeking an Acquisitions Analyst to join our Properties Operations team. The position will be primarily responsible for the purchase of single-family homes. This is a unique opportunity to be an early crew member at a growth-stage start-up. As Acquisitions Analyst, you will be responsible for driving the company’s property acquisitions pipeline and growing the portfolio of single-family homes in key and target markets. Being a member of a small team, you will enjoy thinking broadly and strategically while executing quickly and tactically, having a direct impact on the company’s results and mission.

Where you will make an impact:

• Work alongside real estate agents in local markets to source, underwrite, and acquire single-family properties for our clients
• Conduct and coordinate due diligence activities of potential acquisitions, including the contract, inspection, due diligence and closing processes
• Create and collaborate on reports for senior management and investors
• Lead a successful customer experience
• Assist in the formation and advancement of Property Operations strategies and goals
• Participate in other projects across Property Operations and the broader company
• Assist in post-closing procedures, including property management matters

Your experience:

• 2+ years of experience within residential real estate investments, preferably Single-Family Homes (preferred, not not required)
• Expertise on the property buying process
• Fundamental understanding of inspection reports
• Working knowledge of the following terms: DTI, SFR, cash on cash and IRR
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience on a cross-functional team
• You spend your spare hours on Zillow, Trulia and Redfin
