Pre-requisites for the role include a technical/analytical skill set, a strong business acumen and a curious mind-set capable of thinking outside the box and questioning the status quo. The role requires a high degree of flexibility and the ability to proactively provide insight and recommendations throughout the organization. 


What you’ll do  

  • Develop expert understanding of sports wagering and casino transactional flows
  • Build in-depth knowledge of sports wagering and casino revenue reporting structures
  • Reconcile revenue numbers reported by the sports wagering platform versus funds in/out of customers’ online accounts and identify discrepancies
  • Investigate found discrepancies and liaise with platform providers to reconcile more complex variances
  • Record actions taken to resolve discrepancies and document/summarize for review by the regulator
  • Identify recurring underlying issues and patterns and work with product development teams to implement solutions
  • Assist FanDuel Finance team with queries from Internal and External Audit

Who we’re looking for

  • Pro-active problem solver with flexibility to work across different units
  • Experience in working with large complex datasets to derive insight
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and SQL
  • Comfortable using graphs and other illustrative tools to present large volume of data.
  • Strong work ethic complemented by a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Understanding of the online business, ecommerce.
  • Professional interest in sports and wagering.
  • College Degree preferred an analytical discipline (i.e. Engineering, Statistical Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Studies, Economics, Computer Science, etc.)
  • A minimum of 2 years analytics/data engineering experience, working in an analytically focused role.
  • Attention to details and organizational skills
