Job Description

We’re looking for a Reporting Specialist to join our growing team and take ownership of the data reporting processes that help set up our customers for long-term success. This role is instrumental in helping to create high-quality data reporting that enables our customers to reduce manual processes for their Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams. Our ideal candidate is a data expert who enjoys getting in the weeds to build reports, is incredibly customer-oriented, and has a high level of attention to detail. 

Responsibilities

• Take ownership over client reporting processes, which includes building new reports and troubleshooting existing reports
• Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to serve high-impact client and internal reporting needs
• Improve internal communication and workflow processes for reporting to help scale the offering as our customer base grows
• Work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to improve on our on-site reporting offering
• Become a subject matter expert on our data and reporting offerings, eventually collaborating directly with our customers to help them get the most out of our reporting features

Qualifications

• You have 2+ years in a data-intensive role, especially in a SaaS, e-commerce business, or startup
• You are comfortable working with databases and are proficient in PostgreSQL
• You’re highly organized with strong attention to detail 
• You have a growth mindset and are comfortable with ambiguous situations and tackling new challenges
• You have exceptional communication and are comfortable working directly with customers to gather reporting requirements
• You are proficient in Excel/Google Sheets (or equivalent)
