About the Role
MoneyLion's Credit Risk department is seeking for an experienced Risk Analyst to join the team to facilitate and champion a data-driven approach to credit risk management. This will entail a deep understanding of traditional and alternative consumer credit attributes, acquisition funnel dynamics, underwriting strategy, and unit economics. The selected candidate for this role will be a self-starter who is able to effectively translate data into actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage data-driven insights to drive changes to credit strategy, pricing, and line assignment
- Work collaboratively with Lending Product Managers and other internal stakeholders
- Serve as an organizational expert on our risk tracking tools and dashboards; educate and evangelize a data-driven approach throughout the user experience
- Continue to develop our in-house risk analytics tools to track portfolio performance and make recommendations
- Perform ad-hoc data studies based on management requirements
- Develop and forecast key credit metrics
- Timely fulfillment of Regulatory / Compliance Data needs
- Work with the senior management team to support insight-driven decision-making
About You
- 2+ years of credit risk and/or analytical experience
- Experience working with databases (e.g. MongoDB,PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, etc)
- Demonstrated understanding of traditional and alternative consumer credit attributes, acquisition funnel dynamics, underwriting strategy, and unit economics
- Knowledge of SQL, R or Python
- Ability formulate novel solutions to problems, communicate thought process clearly, and think within the context of larger business needs and targets
