Paxful is searching for a Senior Associate, Business Intelligence - Growth who is metrics-driven and an analytic pro to join our Business Intelligence team.  The person in this role will be a thought partner to the Growth team by anticipating their analytical needs and leveraging data to derive actionable insights to support and evaluate experimentation design & partnerships. You will be based out of our New York office and report to our Manager, Business Intelligence.

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will entail:

  • Metrics Driven: Define how the growth team measures the success of experiments and partnerships, by developing Key Performance Indicators and other users/business metrics
  • Visualization: Build effective dashboards for KPI monitoring and providing data that answer the needs of our internal stakeholders 
  • Analytical: Generate new hypotheses about the product and business through a deep understanding of the data, our customers, and our business
  • Design experiments and interpret the results to draw detailed and impactful conclusions
  • Build models to evaluate value and opportunity costs of experimentation programs and partnership
  • Use scientific methods to establish causal relationships between user actions and behavior
  • Communication: You can translate business objectives into analyses and are comfortable communicating concepts and results of analyses to a varied audience 

The most important skill and capabilities for this role are: 

  • Proficient in SQL, Python or R, 
  • Experience building intuitive and impactful dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc.
  • Experience with experimental design and statistical methods (causal Inference, hypothesis testing, regression etc.)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and manage relationships with both technical and non-technical partners
  • Experience with trend forecasting or financial modelling is a plus

Target Experience: 

  • 4+ years of industry experience in data analysis 
  • Bachelors in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Masters is a plus
  • Experience in Product, FinTech or Crypto etc
