DESCRIPTION

As our Business Analyst you will work closely with the Product Owner and Scrum team to refine and write user stories, provide guidance to the scrum team on user behavior, and enhance user experience. You will help drive development, identify areas for improvement through data analysis, and promote continuous improvement to enable us to achieve our strategic goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and clients
  • Work with the product team to define a road map
  • Write user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Understand and assist the team in prioritization efforts, release planning, reviewing stories/tasks
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies
  • Conduct Demo

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis within financial services (particularly within Capital Markets/ Wealth Management.)
  • Product backlog management for 1 year
  • Financial Industry knowledge, preferably Wealth Management for at least 1 year
  • 5 years of experience in the requirements gathering and writing
  • Ability to perform a gap analysis between systems and propose future state
  • Strong understanding of Agile Methodologies and the roles of the team
  • Experience in writing technical requirements in the user story format for software applications
  • Experience in prioritizing stories in the backlog based on business values and dependencies
  • Experience in participating in backlog grooming sessions with a team
  • Understanding how software applications can communicate with each other (via API)
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of using JIRA and Confluence
