About the Role

Orchard is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to drive key strategic, financial, and operational insights and improvements across the business with a focus on Sales and Marketing. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to surface critical data, conduct complex analyses, and help the organization make fast, data-informed decisions. This role reports to the Head of Finance & Strategy.

What You’ll Do Here

• Analyze disparate data sets to measure operational and financial initiatives
• Build reporting tools to make data and analyses accessible across the business, while monitoring to ensure proper strategic execution
• Deliver complex analyses and provide insights and recommendations to drive company performance, with emphasis on sales and marketing activities
• Closely collaborate with functional group leads throughout the reporting and analytics lifecycle, from initial scoping to deployment to maintenance
• Design, create, and continuously improve upon metrics, reports, dashboards, and analyses to help company stakeholders measure performance and make informed decisions
• Build reporting to drive improvement for sales and marketing activity

We’d Love to Hear From You if You Have:

• 4+ years of experience in a business intelligence, business analytics, finance, or consulting.
• Experience working at a high-growth company is a plus.
• Experience working in a B2C environment a plus.
• Prior experience working with sales and marketing teams a plus.
• Experience driving fast-paced projects from scratch to completion in a highly organized manner, while managing multiple stakeholders
• Proficient in excel
• Experience using business intelligence reporting tools; Looker proficiency and/or developing with OLAP principles is a plus; SQL proficiency.
• BA/BS degree in a quantitative discipline (Business, Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics, Engineering); Master degree a plus

• Results oriented with an incredible attention to detail; able to drive projects from planning to completion with limited oversight
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to work across diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams; ability to convey technical topics to non-technical audiences; ability to communicate at an executive level 
• A low ego and can-do attitude; willingness to admit mistakes and roll up your sleeves to remedy them
• Comfort operating in an ambiguous environment where there's not a set playbook on how to solve each problem
