Crossix is seeking an intellectually curious, adaptable, resourceful, and collaborative Senior Data Scientist, Healthcare Data to join our Analytic Products team. These are exciting times at Crossix as we grow our business and expand our product offerings to provide increasingly transformative insights to drive marketing decisions at the intersection of big data, health informatics, healthcare marketing and media!


What You’ll Do
As part of the Health Data team under Analytic Products, you will focus on developing models that ensure statistical significance and/or accuracy of results including but not limited to methods for projecting, factoring and sampling and have the following areas of responsibility:

  • Help develop statistical models with health data at various segmentation levels

  • Understand strengths and weaknesses of data assets and develop appropriate methods to validate models

  • Identify and assist in procuring appropriate sources of data for validation of the various statistical models developed internally

  • Analyze/review new additions to data assets and tweak statistical models accordingly; periodically recalibrate models to account for changes in trends and/or data anomalies

  • Own, organize, and manage projects and clearly communicate analysis results to diverse audiences

  • Work with Data Engineering, Product and Client Services teams to help implement and integrate statistical models into products, including development, testing and communication/training

  • Work independently and/or part of a team; manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Work with Product and Industry Solutions teams to help innovate on new product offerings


What You've Done

  • 3+ years of experience developing statistical models using health data
  • Direct experience with d healthcare data sets strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with Health Data
  • 8+ years of overall relevant experience
  • Graduate degree in a quantitative field is highly preferred (Eg. Statistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of mathematical fundamentals: probability theory, linear algebra and statistics
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think out of the box and provide creative solutions

Note: this role may be located in either the NYC or Boston area.
