The Role:

DailyPay is looking for a Senior Manager to lead our Data Products group inside the DailyPay Data Team. The Data Products group is responsible for owning the strategy and execution of data science and analytics products that are used cross-functionally inside the company (sales, marketing, operations, engineering, etc.) as well as by DailyPay partner companies, while ensuring compliance with state, Federal and international regulations concerning the handling, processing, security and privacy of data.

The Senior Manager of Data Products will work with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and work with the Product and Engineering team to design products that provide insights about our partners, customers and the labor market in general, with the ultimate mission of helping our customers and partners improve personal finance and overall financial wellbeing through access to data.

The mission of the Data Team is critical for continuous development and success of our product, understanding the needs of our customers and partners, and maintaining DailyPay’s leading role in the on demand pay industry -- and the Senior Manager of Data Products will be instrumental in helping to realize this vision for DailyPay.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Work with Data and Business leaders to define the Data Products strategy and own the delivery of the Data Products roadmap and the associated KPIs.
• Improve and maintain data governance practices within DailyPay
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal and International regulatory requirements and norms regarding the handling, processing, and privacy of data.
• Bring Data Products to market that integrate Analytics, Machine Learning and Data Science that add value to our customers.
• Collaborate with the Analytics Engineering team and other engineering teams to design, support and maintain data reports, analytics, metrics and dashboards for internal and external use
• Recruit and manage a team of 1-2 data product managers or associates to ensure optimal delivery and execution of a data products strategy inside of DailyPay

What You Bring to The Team:

• 4+ years Product Management experience
• 1+ years of direct management experience
• 4+ years of SQL experience (intermediate required; expert preferred)
• Experience managing teams of 4 or more engineers
• Experience building and maintaining products in compliance with GDPR, SOX, PCI, OFCCP / EEOC, or similarly sophisticated regulations
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Periscope/Sisense, Tableau, Looker, or similar
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
