ADP is hiring a Service Business Analyst. In this position you will be responsible for developing business requirements for the business unit's initiatives and/or projects. Service Business Analysts are responsible for leading and participating on project teams to implement initiatives and ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes. Based on a strong level of knowledge of ADP products, business functions, applications and procedures, the Business Analyst position participates as a key contributor in the development and implementation of new or revised ADP products, programs, applications and procedures in the business unit. Effective communication skills are required since this position serves as a liaison between technical, development and business teams in order to gather, document and analyze business requirements, participate in the development of project plans and implement new programs and products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Researches, gathers and documents user requirements and seeks input for requested projects by conducting interviews of subject matter experts (SMEs), including clients and ADP associates from the business or other business units.
  • Identifies business needs and participates as key contributor in the implementation of new or revised ADP products, programs and operating systems/procedures.
  • Serves as a liaison between technical, development and business teams in order to gather, analyze and develop business requirements and implement new or revised business models, products, systems, and procedures.
  • Collaborates with business partners to analyze and identify field business needs and participates in the development of plans, programs, operating systems and procedures to address them.
  • Post implementation of project, may be required to analyze success of rollout and monitor ongoing progress of initiative.
  • Maintains a strong knowledge of applicable products, applications and procedures by participating in focus groups, product committees and business conferences, as well as visiting business locations.
  • The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements for assigned projects.
  • Playing a key contributor role to implement projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes.
  • The Business Analyst monitors and reports to stakeholders the status of assigned projects including identifying any issues which might delay final results or deliverable.
  • Elaborates with IT on the approved requirements as IT creates Functional Specs and test scripts.
  • Ensures that test plans are tied back to all requirements and that deliverables fully satisfy all client requirements.
  • Participates in developing the success criteria for the projects.
  • This position receives limited management supervision.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years experience in Client Services, Implementation and/or Operations at a Sr. CSR, SR. IS, TSS or Manager level in service center and/or group staff functions.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of Business Analyst experience.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent in education and experience.
  • Communication with Stakeholders
  • Project and Program Management Experience
  • Knowledge of SQL Scripting
  • Knowledge of Office 365 Automation or RPA
  • Good working knowledge of all functions in the business units across all ADP products
  • Effective analytical and PC skills are essential
  • Effective written and oral/presentation skills are required
  • Ability to create flowcharts, presentations and/or use flowcharting software (VISIO, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering, documenting business requirements
