Meeting your future team:

At Collibra, our Professional Service team relies on Solution Architects to deliver on customer expectations. The Solution Architect, Data Quality works with clients to understand their data quality challenges and offers recommendations to create or refine an effective Data Quality Strategy. They work to improve a client’s data quality through profiling, analysis and long term monitoring of their data. This team member not only identifies current issues but also works with clients to develop sustainable solutions.

Solution Architects at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Working with clients to understand their data quality challenges
  • Conducting interviews with client stakeholders from Business and IT to gather information on current Data Quality challenges and bring to light trends in their data issues
  • Determining current state and future state for the Data Quality vision
  • Improving a client’s data quality through profiling, analysis and long term monitoring of their data 
  • Profiling individual datasets to define data challenges
  • Ensuring services delivery in compliance with established Collibra Engagement Model, Processes, Methodologies and Artifacts
  • Achieving utilization targets and help Collibra to grow its services business

You Have:

  • Education: At least a bachelor’s or equivalent degree in a business, technical or related field is preferred
  • Experience: 5-10 years relevant industry consulting or experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience with cloud platforms, network-based API Integration experience (REST/JSON), and deployment automation
  • Experience using Java or Python for custom software implementations in Enterprise Linux or Unix environments
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and business requirements
  • Hands on experience with Data Quality, Data Pipeline, Data Orchestration, or Job Control tools

You Are:

  • Knowledgeable of data management processes (data governance, data stewardship, master data management, data cataloging, data warehousing, ETL, data integration, business rules management, etc.)
  • Proven ability to work with business and analytics leaders to identify and align on solutions to data quality, and successfully champion the role of data quality to preserve data integrity
  • Experience leading blueprinting, design workshops, requirements gathering activities
  • Skilled in big data technologies such as Kubernetes, Spark, and Hadoop
  • Well-versed in various enterprise security solutions such as LDAP or Kerberos
  • Skilled at developing functional specifications, technical specifications, test specifications 

Reporting to Collibra's Professional Services Manager, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will be enabled in Collibra product offerings, product training, and services portfolio
  • Within your second month, you will be learning the Collibra solutions delivery motion and methodology
  • Within your third month, you will be engaged in delivering Collibra solutions
